We will show that spin and magnetic quantum number influence tunneling and will discuss new results on non-dipole effects.
We have revealed the ultrafast evolution of energy redistribution process from nonequilibrium carrier population formation to broad thermalized carrier distribution in photoexcited graphite by time-resolved and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy based on sub-5-fs high-order harmonic source.
We investigate the ultrafast dynamics on single gold nanosponges by imaging the random and long-lived localization of surface plasmons using time-resolved photoemission electron microscopy. The steps towards attosecond time resolution are discussed.
Experimental signature of the Intermolecular Coulombic Decay process in liquid water has been measured at separately at ELI-ALPS and ETH Zürich via coincidence photoelectron spectroscopy using a magnetic bottle time of flight spectrometer.
We study the generation enhancement due to the spectral caustic in two-color HHG and show that the caustic feature can be used to provide a quasi-monochromatic XUV source with an almost linear frequency vs. time dependence.
Using a phase-locked combination of XUV and terahertz fields to probe the dynamics of the system, we propose that the time-evolved density matrix can be reconstructed from photoelectronic spectra with the ultrafast coherent processes resolvable.
